Why should I buy a MacDon header from Northern Plains Equipment?

MacDon headers are our specialty. We go through our MacDon headers more thoroughly than anyone else in the business. We almost exclusively use genuine MacDon parts in our repairs. Journeyman tradespeople do the work, and each header is tested on a combine and guaranteed to work how it’s supposed to.

Why should I buy equipment from Northern Plains Equipment?

We put a lot of time and effort into finding good equipment. We are not brokers. Each piece of equipment is thoroughly inspected and repaired. That means we know what we are selling you, and you have clear expectations about what you are buying. And we guarantee that it will work how it’s supposed to. If you have any issues, call us. We will figure out a solution with you. Even if you don’t think we can help you, still call us.

What kind of parts do you carry?

We have used parts for combines, swathers, headers, pickups, air drills, and air seeder carts. We have new options for all of these things and more, and we also sell used and new tires in any size. Give us a call! If we don’t have it, we can probably get it.

Do you provide financing?

Yes, we can help with financing. We frequently work with FCC and National Bank Equipment Finance (formerly CWB National Leasing) and we’re happy to work with any institution you’d like.

Are you affiliated with Combine World?

We are not. Jodie’s parents started Combine World in 1986, and ran it until they sold in 2021. Jodie grew up in the business, and was General Manager for the 5 years prior to selling.

Why can’t I find you on social media?

We aren’t on social media. It’s something we gave up long ago and we’ll never go back. We do get some positive exposure from others on social media and we thank you for that!

What are your hours during farming season?

We have extended hours during harvest. Check our website or google page for up to date info.

How quickly can I get parts?

Usually very quickly. Call for details about the specific item you need.

What are your pickup and shipping options?

Come pick up in person during the day or after hours. We use most major freight companies for shipping.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, this is no problem. We can arrange freight and take care of all your customs / import documentation.

What is your return policy?

You can bring any part back within 30 days of your invoice date. If you have issues or questions outside of our normal return policy, call us and we’ll do our best to help you.

What payment methods do accept?

We accept cash, cheque, e-transfer, wire / EFT, Visa and Mastercard. A 3% charge applies to all Visa and Mastercard transactions.
